We are seeking a talented Product Design Engineer with special skills in Product Development. Typically, you will be responsible for tasks related to mechatronics/mechanical design engineering, and computer-aided design (CAD). You should have outstanding communication and leadership skills.
- Design and develop high-quality products, focusing on plastic assemblies and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices for manufacturing and assembly.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define and capture detailed requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment at every stage of the product lifecycle.
- Develop and propose innovative technical solutions in coordination with cross-functional teams, including suppliers.
- Tailor our assemblies to meet specific customer needs, providing customized, high-performing solutions.
- Own the detailed technical documentation for assigned design tasks, including Bill of Materials (BOM), drawings (DRW), engineering reports, and error analysis.
- Lead the coordination and planning of prototypes and sample production, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
- Ensure that all products, assemblies, and components meet conformity and regulatory requirements.
- Support the project planning, monitoring, and control of temperature controller projects, with a focus on delivering results on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- A completed degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Extensive experience in mechanical design, ideally with a focus on electronic products incorporating plastic housings.
- Proficiency in MS Office, PDM/PLM systems, and 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks or SolidEdge).
- Solid understanding of development processes (e.g., FMEA, V-model, PDCA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proven track record in project management, with a strong interest in further professional development in this area.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a structured and results-driven approach to work.
- High flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive attitude in a dynamic work environment.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Experience with Embedded, web or mobile applications is a plus
